I am a former cop and from what she told me, the other vehicle is at fault because he came into her lane and hit our car, but there was no police report. I have been reading and people say the car is covered, not the driver so it should be, but I also read someone who said if someone lives with you and you did not tell the insurance company they could have possession of your car, that they may not cover it. HEALTH INSURANCE FOR MY MOM?

Ok here is the deal-we are on my husbands military insurance and we were under the impression we could add my mother if she was our dependent-however we can't unless she is declared legally incompetent which she is not. However she is 60, very sick, with a preexisting condition (diabetes,lupus, and depression). She can apply for disability but has been waiting on documentation forever-so that's not an option right now. I feel terrible because we told her she could be under ours because we were originally told she could be-and now I have to tell her otherwise which will be awful. Does anyone have any ideas for affordable insurance for her. She doesn't qualify for Medicaid and we live in KY thanks-and please no smart *** remarks or anything this is a serious question and I need all the help I can get.

Car insurance question (just turned 16)?

So I just turned 16, and am about to purchase a car after saving up for the past year or so. I just have 2 questions. 1- Im planning to get a 1991 Nissan 300zx, there's a 2 seater-2door and a 4 seater- 2 door version of this car. Planning to get the 4 seater, and from what I've heard, insurance will be a tad bit cheaper with the 4 seater, is this true ? And for the more important question - Im underage obviously, so I have to go under my parents for insurance. Thing is, my dad has a HORRIBLE driving record, 1 accident that was his fault and a heaping amount of tickets. And my parents' insurance has gone up from that.. But is his driving record going to affect my insurance? Like will I have to pay more than expected due to his bad record ? Sorry for such the long question..
